Joining us in this two-part episode is Jack Schafer, co-author (with Marvin Karlins) of "The Truth Detector: An Ex-FBI Agent’s Guide for Getting People to Reveal the Truth", and the expert who created the elicitation technique and pioneered it for the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Program. He tells us how elicitation — a field-tested technique for encouraging people to provide the information they would otherwise keep secret is more effective than coercion.

Want to understand how you can use elicitation to gain trust and rapport with others as well as get liars to reveal the truth? Listen, learn, and enjoy!
