Babies, Rings and Tying The Knot - Our Year in Review
For many, 2007 was a wonderful year. I thought it would be a good time to remind us all why we are here and give a shout out to those who found love. We had more success stories in 2007 than every before and we hope that 2008 will see even more! So, if you're not already talking to someone, make a New Years Resolution to yourself that 2008 will be the year of the Success Story! Yours!
I thought we would round out 2007 with some happy faces and show you what the site is really about (Hint: something about love...) !
Find your soulmate on InterracialDatingCentral
Firstly, congratulations to CoffeeEyes and The_chief (Didi and Bill) on your recent engagement and we wish you all the best for a wonderful June wedding.
Several couples tied the knot in December including DivaTru and rvb1234 (Rodney and Divan), Maxfatta stole Bahaprincess's heart and she's moving to England! One of our members thought he would stated EXACTLY what he was looking for and had a nickname of WifeWanted. Peaches2355 answered his ad and they were married on 31st December 2007.
Other memorable weddings were Evoyne and Grapjas, who found each other again on our site and 3 years later proudly call themselves husband and wife, then there was Eddie, who tragically lost his wife to an illness and found love and marriage again with the lovely Opel. Not to be outdone Arthur fell madly in love with a German lady called Christa. He moved from the US to Germany where they now happily married.
Bahamasguy (Corey) and Bahama202 (Donna) met on the site a few years ago and continued to develop their relationship over this time. They married in 2007 and they are finally the family they always wanted to be. Rumor has it that we also have a new addition to the family with BombTongue (Tina) and Maurice27 (Maurice) having a baby last July. Tina, if you read this, we ALL want to see the baby photos!
Finally, Jenn and Matthew! Let me tell you Jenn is a real character and hopefully Matthew has returned from serving in Iraq so they can move on with their married life!
Now you may be wondering what it is that these people did right and maybe you're doing wrong! The main thing is that they didn't let distance or loss or time stop them being together! They never lost focus that they were on the site for one thing and that was to find their perfect someone.
Bottom line is THEY BELIEVED and it worked!
Dr. Phil has a saying which I'm happy to steal because I think everyone should have this as their motto in life. It goes "If you always do what you have always done, then you will always get what you always have".
So, think about it, what is it that you could change that would help you find your perfect one? Do one thing different in your life in 2008 and do it for you! It may be get fitter, lose weight, stop smoking, be more open to someone who's wonderful but 3 states away, taking the time to reply to someone you've been meaning to for a while or even just contacting someone you've always thought was cute but never had the courage to contact. Just remember to leave your baggage at the door and enter the site with a positive attitude that you WILL find someone.
Finally, take a chance! I know one thing for certain, in 2008 we will have more success stories and marriages and I hope you'll be one of them! Happy New Year! Happy New You!

I think that all the stories are great and an inspiration. I know that moving is a big step but I believe that love has no borders. Dance like no one is watching, sing like no one is listening and love like there are no borders !!!

The article is nice. There will be some people agreeing & others who will not agree. It's all about choice. YOUR CHOICE! The very long distance relationship with my now husband was worth it to us. If you think it is true love then go for it. Obstacles can be overcome if you really believe in the relationship. I am not saying make hasty decisions without thinking things through. Everyone has the right to make their own decisions. Whether it looks good or bad to others. In the end, it's your life. Be happy is all that I say. Once you stop feeling happy, then you should do everything & anything to achieve your happiness.

Moving to another country or even another state or town to be with a person you have only known for a few months is a very big step and I think more people on this site need to spend more time getting to know the person they are in love with before making any hasty decisions. I have seen couples from this site make those drastic life changing decisions and the relationships didn't last. I've met a few guys here that were long distance and after I found out what their real personalities are like it made me very thankful I didn't let myself make any decisions that would ruin my life.
