Out with the old babe ... in with the new!
One thing women admire – and at the same time loathe - about men is our resilience when it comes to pursuing the object of our affection. Once a man has fixed his sight on some woman, no matter how many refutations he gets, he is just like a cheater after a helpless gazelle (best way I can describe it). Those that won’t take ‘NO’ for an answer.
Half the time, conquering is the only thing that will quell the desire of pursuit; because even when the woman is in the hands of another man, the chase gets even more tempting. Thing some men don’t realize is how annoying it is to pursue a woman who has clearly said ‘NO’ (CAPS, BOLD and UNDERLINED).

They say women usually say ‘NO’ when they mean ‘YES’ – this kind of mentality is what increases the high rate of rape and sexual offenses. Do these people think women need to be coy and non-aggressive particularly when it comes to sex? What an annoying part of the female inheritance.
Lucky enough, the 21st century woman has learned that to survive in this man’s world, they had better embrace the same assertiveness and directness that men can understand. And out went the circle drawing with the feet and the games that sweetly exemplified the girl under pursuit. Today’s woman knows what she wants and is not afraid to go for it. If she holds the company’s IT infrastructure in her hands or runs marketing campaigns that convince the whole world to buy a product, why the hell would she say ‘NO’ when she means ‘YES’?
Not to sound a pig but I kinda miss the old girl who sits and waits for prince charming to come and ask – on his knees – for her hand in marriage. Sexy for her is defined by her eyes – not her curves because they are somewhere buried in an ocean of cloth. WHO AM I KIDDING? This woman is so gone and I have no problem with women of today. Women who know happiness IS NOT defined by marriage … just because a man offered to buy her a drink.
So when she says ‘NO’ to that date of yours, she really has no desire to go out with you. And in case she changes her mind, trust me, she will find you.
Just for kicks, which woman do you prefer? The old girl that drew circles with her toes or the new girl in town?

I've been places with friends, and we've seen an attractive woman nearby. All of a sudden, a friend at first glance will just call her out or something. I'm like, give it a little time. I like to examine her, assess the situation if you will. Watch her walk. Get up close and listen to her talk and hear what kind of vocabulary and laugh she has, catch a glimpse of her teeth. Nothing like going to buy some grapes and finding those fuzzy white ones in the middle when you get home. To me, it's no different with women, and I'm sure it's no different TO women. If I have a daughter, I will be she sure that she understands that kind selectiveness. I know I will have to be at my best because I have to set the standard for her. You are very wise, Mother Citizen. My dad is my favorite guy in the world. Greetings, Sister Godiva!

The majority of old girls appeared to be more feminine - as society expected a female to behave sub-servant. Women were considered GIRLS and they went straight to the granny phase without the transition period of being an adult woman. These were the women men could understand and deal with. Those women, who did not adjust to society's expectations, were called all kinds of things, such as Lesbians and some getting burnt as witches. This was the case in our Western Civilization - and still exists in some Middle East Countries, even more exaggerated. There have been native cultures, though, where women were allowed to be human - and received admiration and respect for being able to give life, nurse and do almost everything else a man is able to do, with endurance. Women are not really different today, our society forced them from one extreme to another. My 94 year old mother does not understand how women have improved their existence, after not being just a housewife and lover, but burdened with having to work like a man on a job, on top of that 24 hour home making, which it takes, if you have a husband and children. I think today's women are more interesting, as they have a greater intellectual level and are more independent. If men recognize this as an advantage, rather than a threat, there is ground for truly HONEST, fulfilling relationships, and not so much playing games. A female can be a Lady, even when stripped of her clothes. A female can be a Slut in her turtle neck sweater. It may be helpful for men to educate themselves on BODY LANGUAGE, which tells a great deal about a woman, about her deep INSIDE - reflecting an unmistakable YES or NO. Ichibod, your father knew what he was talking about!

Knowing what you want is one thing and a good thing as well, but the way a woman goes about getting what she want's say's more about her than some realizes. Sexy and trashy is not one in the same!! If you desire and want a classy man, then act accordingly. If you want a man to take ALL of you seriously, then carry yourself in that manner. Your body is a small part of your essence, but your true essence is your soul and spirit.. She moves in mysterious ways!!! godiva

I like the old girl. To say that today's woman "knows what she wants" as James put it, suggests that the new girl always finds happy and lasting relationships, which she doesn't. So much for knowing want she wanted, unless she wants to run into headaches and heartbreaks every couple of months. At least I know the old girl, waiting rather than out on the prowl like some horny alley cat, will more than likely be disease and baggage free. "Sexy for her is defined by her eyes – not her curves because they are somewhere buried in an ocean of cloth." My dad told me long time ago, "You don't know if a girl is fine until you see her naked". To me, that means I better find more to love about a woman besides what she looks like. I like a covered up girl anyway.

No doubt new, women know what they want, A man who believes in the saying " no means yes" has a problem with rejection.

I prefer the new type. I don't have a problem with persuit, it's if I go too far in the persuit and think no means yes when it doesn't, it can lead to felonious criminal charges that might just ruin my life. I don't have time for that.

Personally, I have CHANGED from the old type of girl to the new type, and I LOVE it! I love the empowering and free feeling of knowing what I want and being able to be clear about it. I love feeling strong like a man and it actually makes me feel a lot more sensual.

Chasing a woman who says, "No" or is with a guy just indicates that a man is not available. Even if he "wins her", he usually if off the next conquest. And the cause of rape is objectifying women and wanting to express power and control that is usually missing in the rest of the rapists life. It is a sick mental quirk and in no way the result of a woman being coy.
