Found that perfect one? Make it last forever

It’s the holiday season. May be you will bump into that perfect one somewhere while enjoying your holiday. And if you already have that perfect love, how can you make it last forever?

First thing is to remain positive. Even when an argument arises or you are talking about each other’s problems, avoid spiraling into negativity. Learn how to deal with arguments. And the best medicine sometimes is just a different topic away. Also, try giving your spouse some positive affirmation; it makes em less defensive, hence killing the argument all together.

If you have been in an argument for minutes on end, try taking some time-out. And make sure you always make up after fights. This helps repair the hurt you may have caused one another.

Don’t condone bad behavior. Studies show that couples who say no to bad behavior from one another have a higher chance of staying happily married.

And don’t forget to tell the other person how much you love them. And use actions to back it up.

Obviously, I'm no expert. If I were, I wouldn't be on a dating site. However, I like what you have say here. "Don't condone bad behavior" is my motto for 2010, regardless of who is putting it down.
