This catches a man's attention first... Even before boobs!

This is why most of them have drawers overflowing with push-up bras thinking it’s the cleavage that get’s a man’s attention… It’s the sumptuous cleavage and perky boobs that men notice first in a woman. Apparently, NOT!

According to a recent survey by Glamour, there is one simple feature that we men notice in a woman. Even when she has her back to us, it’s not the sexy a** that catches our attention first… It’s the hair! Below are the results:

74% of men indicated that they notice women because of their hair and 44% of men surveyed said that hair is the first thing they notice about a woman, more than her clothes (26%), legs (25%), or makeup (4%).

Most men surveyed would be more likely to approach a woman at a bar with great hair than a woman wearing a low-cut shirt.

82% of men indicated that sexy hair is a key element to a woman’s overall sex appeal.

60% of men surveyed say they would rather date a woman with great hair than a woman with big breasts.

And 78% of men surveyed consider healthy hair to be a turn-on.

But is it really the hair that men care so much about?

Steve Ward of VHI Tough Love explains this perfectly: "... you don’t always have to go for the most revealing look on the first date. Instead of struggling to decide what outfit to wear, it may be a good idea to start to rethink your hairstyle. Hair that is healthy and well-kept immediately signals to a man that you are responsible, classy, attentive, and take pride in your appearance and these are all characteristics that men look for in women."

Hair seems to make a pretty good first impression. Plus hair is a major feature in a woman’s sex appeal. But seriously guys, would you rather date a woman with great hair than one with a great pair of boobs? I'd choose a great pair any day. You?

I like to go to directly to the horses mouth. Have just asked some of my male friends. THEY said they notice a smiling face first. Then hair then her figure. But I live in Northern Cali, the West Coast, where men are a bit more savvy about wigs and weaves and don't trust that the hair is natural even on ww (the ones I quizzed don't care for wig or weave cause they can't run their fingers down to the scalp to 'grab hold'. Hey, like I said, I go directly to men to hear what they think.

  @ happysolucky - I also notice her face and her smile. The face is mainly what you focus on while talking to a woman. What if her boobs and hair is perfect but her face looks like five miles of bad road or she needs some serious dental work? I don't think no man wants a woman that's hard on the eyes, no matter how perfect the boobs are pretty the face. I'm willing to keep my lady's hair together, I'd be willing to buy her some good push-up bras but I'm not paying for facial enhancements( plastic surjer) as they now call it. I'd rather save the money and keep it moving! LMAO

I actually agree with this article. All the guys I know seem to be in love with hair and have an opinion of whether or not it should be in my face, off my face, or just slightly pulled back.

Agreed--to a slight extend and the reason why is when the back is turned the hair is visible and when the back is NOT turned, the hair is visible but not the face. I believe men are attracted MOST often to the face. The hair could be the inital attraction statistics winner--yes. But the thing that reels a man in is the face and the expressions our face puts forth. Men who go for, "love," are looking for that longtime companion--that woman who will be there for him, a best friend, through thick and thin and never treat him badly or tell him, "no." Men need this from a woman--not someone who frowns, scowls and acts like a (and I won't use that b word I despise so much). I know when I come home from a hard night of busting my butt and carrying heavy equipment the LAST thing I want to see is a frown and the last thing I want to hear is griping. But give any human being that human connection, comfort and warmth a smile gives and you have a recipe for love. Men are very, very in tune with this and in the longrun, a pretty face is number 1. Now we all know how to get pretty.
