Are you a "Conveyor Belt" dater?
Are you a “Conveyor Belt” dater? Do you move on to new dates very quickly when something goes wrong? After all there are plenty more fish in the sea, right? So if someone you are dating says something you don’t like or does something silly that upsets you, its right to dump them and move on, isn’t it? There is a tendency in this new fast pace life that we lead to dismiss people very quickly and toss them to one side if things are not perfect.
Then one day you wake up and realize that you have spent too many years wading through relationships and when you want to settle down you don’t know how. As dating and relationship coaches this is one of the most common things we work on with clients. Breaking patterns of “Conveyor Belt” dating, as we like to call it. It’s fine to play the field if you feel that is something you need to get out of your system, but set a time limit on this, 6 months to 18 months maximum or you too will be caught in this trap, which is hard to get out of.

The problem with this type of dating is that you wouldn’t recognize the right person if they stood in front of you with a big red flashing sign saying “I’m the ONE”. You are not in the right “head space” to see beyond what is going on in your dating life to appreciate that special someone.
Good news is we can help you. First step is to recognize this is your pattern and secondly, stop dating, take time out, work out who you are and who you want to be. Our guide to successful dating is a great way to break this pattern without the need of a professional coach. Use the guide from start to finish as it will put you through the right paces to get you into the best place to date in a healthy way and meet the right person, more importantly recognize the right person and enjoy the healthy, happy loving relationship you deserve.
