Hey You! Thanks for checking me out... At the present moment I am looking for someone to hang out with; maybe see a comedy concert, check out a cool live band, dance a little bit, grab a bit to eat, have an adult beverage or a cup of Joe, and do a little people watching along the way. I'd like to start with friendship and see where it leads us. I'm a very young 40 something in all honesty I'm more like a young 30 I've got a youthful, vibrant, carefree, laid back style and spirit. All my friends tell me that I'm fun, cute, intelligent and witty--- and they are ALL right about that.:)

I'm originally from Chicago raised with quintessential heartland values - a staunch work ethic; deep commitment to family and friends; self-effacing; forever focused on the principle, however imperfectly practiced, that everyone deserves to be treated with kindness, respect and courtesy. I embrace life's simple pleasures and tend to live with gratitude; every experience, good and bad, is a chance to learn more about the world. And of course any experience can be pure joy in the company of the right person. Life is too short to let the small things get you down; I am looking to enjoy life!

What to expect from me? I'm an upfront and straight forward kinda gal... No hidden agendas. I am open, honest, caring and kind; hey it is what it is. I don't have time or energy to pursue, date or juggle multiple men... Just a one man woman! I am looking for a man with the same qualities as I have and the same outlooks in life to get us through the day. If we don't click then it's no big deal, we move on. I'm easy to talk with, funny, creative, honest, caring all with a quirky sense of humor. Strangers often walk up to me and tell me their life stories and ask me for advice. What an honor for people to trust me and my opinions to say the least. I am not into any type of drama; I do not want to be a player in any scenario that would cause pain or suffering to anyone at any time; no bit parts for this woman. I want to have fun and enjoy every day to its fullest. I believe life is too short to be angry, sad, hurt or toxic. As for past baggage I have packed mines away in a safe and have moved on to bigger and better things. I can tuck what I have underneath my seat :)

I enjoy a variety of things. I love watching sports, football, basketball, soccer and a little hockey. I run a 1/2 marathon every spring but I don't consider myself a distance runner. I love concerts and comedy clubs. Hiking is one of my favorite things to do I love being in the sunshine as well as going to the beach to hang out--I don't swim with hair issues and all.:) I am pretty versatile, I enjoy reading good books and watching good movies, and dancing; I will try just about anything fun as long as no limbs will be lost or body bags are needed. LOL! I am a bit of a techie/geeky girl I love technology and gadgets. I love classic cars, drop tops and driving fast!!! Oh people watching is also a fun past time.

Open communication, honesty and mutual respect are essential in a healthy relationship. If you are a player of any type I am not into games. There are a few more things I enjoy but I have rambled long enough.
