28 yo female residing in the riverdale area of the bronx, newly transplanted here to work and start my career but not a stranger to the tristate area after spending several years doing post bacc studies in harlem and then New Jersey. Work-a-holic though I also love vegging, music enthusiast though its been awhile since I bought a record, movie lover though I can't remember the last movie I went to see (actually, now that I think about it---batman was the last one and it was pretty awesome.). I'm a bit on the quiet, shy-side and maybe a little too low key for the hyper sociable types but pretty easy to get along with. I love different types of cuisines from indian, thai, to jamaican and of course Nigerian... But its been a little hard for me to find some good naija food around here. Growing up in Boston with a Nigerian father and alabama born black mom was an interesting bicultural experience but I definitely had no intention of staying in beantown through my twenties. I think my friends are amazed by how focused and dedicated I can be but I think its plain 'ole stubborness.
