How would you describe yourself?
A description of me would read: honest, intelligent, spontaneous, active and attractive guy who's spent years perfecting the art of imperfection.
I was born in Philly, toured the states as a member of a Ska/Reggae band while living in Nashville, now residing in the N. Ga area after a 2 year stint in Dallas but I'm really a son of the beach at heart.
I'm more spiritual than religious, type 2 than normal, and altruistic than materialistic.
Some would say that I'm more of an acquired taste.
If laughter is the best medicine, I'll knowingly exceed the recommended daily dosage without bothering to read the warning label. I have a sense of humor that can be described as quirky and off beat.
(Think Airplane and Amazon Women On The Moon, meets Fletch, Blazing Saddles and Black Dynamite)
I'm on a path of continuous growth, and on a constant quest for knowledge and wisdom, but I'm also a lot of fun.
I desire to share with and learn from my partner, as we make our way through life's mysteries and discoveries..
As a huge fan of music and movies, I have an ever expanding collection of both.
On most nights, if I'm not reading I'm most likely watching a documentary or two, however:
I DON'T watch TV...
...but I DO try to see at least one movie a week.
My reading is mostly non fiction
(I live outside The Matrix)
You won't find me on social media...nothing to hide, it's by choice
...and now, back to the 80's....in a good way...
Music is a big part of my life, so someone who shares this passion is a plus. I'm a fan of most musical genres but I tend to avoid current commercial radio like the plague. Some of my favorites include:Motown/Stax, Sly Stone, James Brown, Buddy Miles,The Beatles, The Clash, The Police, Ultravox, Poets of Rhythm, The Meters, Toots & the Maytals, The Specials, The English Beat, The Selecter, The Pietasters, The Slackers, Hepcat, Zero7, Air, YMO, Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, The Cure, The Smiths, Echo & the Bunnymen, The Cult, The Teardrop Explodes, Japan, Prince, Commodrores, Isley Bros, The Jacksons, Elvis Costello, Sam Phillips, Cracker, Goldfrapp, Beastie Boys, RunDMC, NWA, Grandmaster Flash/Sugarhill Records, Big Country, Fishbone, Heaven 17, INXS, Kid Creole, The La's, Hefner, UB40, anything 80's, Downtempo, Electronica, and Progressive Trance... For starters, lol.
I am looking for
I seek a creative soul unbound by tradition who's ready to not so much as remain in the known, but who's ready to be in the mystery.
My Ideal match need not to let her hair down for me to climb or kiss frogs, eat magic fruit, wear glass slippers or even go up a hill... Also no leaping through flaming hoops while juggling chainsaws and spinning plates is required.
Be true to yourself because a real woman is far more interesting to me than any smoke and mirror act you can conjure up.
I hope to find a woman who is comfortable with herself as well as being intelligent, spontaneous, fun-loving and with a good sense of humor. Someone who's ready to run barefoot in the rain, and then sit in the Emergency Room with a fever afterwards.
Whether you lead or I lead, getting there together is where the fun lies. There's so much to see and do as a lot has changed while we were sleeping.
