I'm a Jewish guy who likes to play as hard as I work. I've been told I don't look "Jewish"-whatever that means. I'm 5'11, 225 lbs. I am a former Muay Thai Kickboxer/Fitness Consultant ;and have never been called "petite" or "dainty". I enjoy being active, and try to eat healthy. I am recovering from knee surgery which kept me in bed all summer(alone-BORING!)Ha. I am NOT a health freak. Life has to be fun;everything in moderation is OK. I currently work in the medical industry, but have worked with kids in the fitness/health industry for many years. I also have extensive experience in the entertainment/nightlife industry and a variety of entrepenurial/sales ventures. Some of my former careers include:Mananger for a kids weight loss program; Personal Trainer/Kickboxing/Women's Self Defense Instructor; DJ, Bouncer, Bartender and Nightclub Floor Mgr., Concert Security Consultant. I have also worked as an MC and Manager @ Club Med, as well as the Cruise Director for several Singles Cruises. I've promoted and hosted private Loft Parties; Non-Profit Charity Events for Operation Smile and Post-Opening Night Celebration for Artists exhibiting in NYC(my father!!!) As an Independent Consultant developed sales and marketing systems for health clubs-trained and supervised staff. I also am the current President of the Yarn and Knitting Club of America-HA!. I am fun loving, passionate and adventuresome. I am a people person, although I prefer quiet nights at home or the movies vs. Bars/Clubs. Family and friends are very important to me;as are animals(especially English Bulldogs-I work with a Rescue Organization as a foster parent for rescued bulls. I've often been told "You look just like your dog...". What an insult. He's much better looking. I work hard and make a good living;I believe money is meant to be spent;but not thrown away. I am not a material person. There's nothing wrong with dressing nice or driving a nice car;being flashy for attention is "tasteless" to me. I am traditional in terms of dating and respecting women. I treat my family and friends very well. I enjoy seeing people happy and will try to ensure the people I care for have what they need. I enjoy traveling, quiet nights at home, hiking, spending time with my dog(I do not currently have one), building a bomb shelter in my Dad's backyard he doesn't know about yet, going to the movies, live concerts(I love the experience;even if not the music I still go!), listening to music, and FOOD;all types!

I am an alpha type and a natural salesman. I am outgoing, funny, playfull, social( if need be)and very conscious of people's emotions and body language. I prefer to watch others take the lead, but quite often I am delegated to lead w/ no option. I enjoy doing different things to try a new experience. Even if just once(Grateful Dead show;Burning Man;controversial art shows(Bodies in NYC).

I am not a jealous person;nor am I short tempered;BUT I am very protective of those I care about and am always aware of what's going on around me. I try to make friends with everybody. The more friends, the better. You never know who you might meet. I will stand up as a person, and would not hesitate to call a waiter out on poor service or a wrong order at a restaurant. I have worked for tips and before, and are very generous with people who deserve it.

In a relationship good communication, understanding, trust, willingness, honesty and the ability to compromise are very important. CHEMISTRY and PHYSICAL ATTRACTION are important;BUT NOT ALWAYS IMMEDIATE. As you learn more about a person, both will change. I am selective when dating, but don't have a type. I am willing to work for something good, and am always looking to better myself as a person. I try to be "present" and not"look for the green grass on the other side of the fence. The error of believing happiness exists with a woman who has more $, better looks, a nicer house is a fallacy that is easy to fall into;I've learned from my past errors. I often solicit people's opinion of "Is there love at first sight or is love something that develops from committing to growing with your partner as the relationship ages?"There is no right answer, of course... One day I hope to find out for myself.
