I have always been an independent, competative, and loving person.
I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) almost 4 years ago.
I thought that nothing could be worse than losing my mother to cancer a week before my 17th birthday, but to have my independence challeneged and neerly taken away from me just before my 23rd birthday when I was diagnosed with the MS was a whole nother barrel of apples!
So, there are some people who see me as fragile and disabled. Yes, I am not able to walk long distances, or stand for long periods of time, but thats what wheelchairs are for. Yes, I may only be 26, and having to use a wheelchair, but I'll tell you what, you can have ALOT of fun in and with a wheelchair if you choose to! I tried being miserable and it's really just not as fun as running people over and going to he front of the line and everything else you can do with a chair!!
