Online dating during the holidays

lonely.JPGIs the online dating world more about finding love that giving it at Christmas time?

More and more lonely hearts are searching the internet in hopes that Santa will leave someone worth kissing at the strike of midnight on New Year’s Eve. But if you haven’t established a relationship with someone before Christmas, I think its best to let the holiday spirit pass before confessing love. I didn’t say you kill the communication. All I am saying is keep your emotions in check until after the holidays.

Find your soulmate on InterracialDatingCentral

Maybe the only thing keeping you sane during the holidays is writing and chatting with them ladies and dudes (whatever the case may be) but this isn’t a good time to let your heart open to mixed signals ... especially at a time when you are feeling lonely and most depressed.

Christmas really isn’t Christmas unless you have someone special to buy for, to share Christmas dinner with and be part of someone special in your life. Such emotions, you could easily interrupt these feelings of vulnerability for love. Let this season be about you and let the season be one of getting to know as many singles as you can and even having a little cyber fun without getting too deep into any emotional involvement.

So if you met this ‘special’ someone during Christmas when your loneliness and emotions were the only things controlling you, save your romance until the holidays pass. Get to know them, but don’t let loneliness be your guide to love. I get lots of emails in January from guys and gals telling me they met someone over the holidays but feel differently now. And after years of this repeated trend, I think it will be politically correct to declare January “the heart break᾿ month.

It’s obvious that just prior to the holidays emotions are being guided by wanting to have that special someone as opposed to actually getting to know the person first. This is because we are just so caught up in the holiday pressure and just want someone with you to fill the void and emptiness. So to you, its gotta be love. Slow down and see you will be feeling in January.

For all those still searching, know that the lady or man of your dreams could be kissing you under the mistletoe next Christmas.

A day without a special someone is a hell for anybody who is ready for romance. The symbolic of Xmas day as special day to share with a special someone is hmm obsolete. Every day is special and precious... To be lonely a so-called ordinary day is really hard, just because it's ordinary. Let us dare to make ordinary days of our life different, so our holidays will be elegant...

I think that is so true. It is hard like you said during this season. I've made some friend and weeded out some who were just feeling lonely and wanted to "play" with me. I think we need to be most practical during this season as a result of all the pressure we face to find that special someone. I'm taking it a day at a time. I just might be spending the next Christmas with that special someone. Keep hope alive...but in a good way u guys. Stay blessed.
