A smaller version of the Brady Bunch

In less than year since they first met, Sharon & Erik have exchanged marriage vows and started a life together. Obstacles have been a part and parcel of the life together, but they look forward to overcoming each one of those and enjoy everything life has to offer, together. As Sharon says "We totally love each other.." Here is their love story, in Sharon's own words.

Erik and I met for the first time in July last year. We had started chatting a few months before that. When he first flirted, I looked at his profile and the picture he had posted and I thought, "no way", while I had not posted any picture of myself. Having been on other sites with and without pictures, I did not want o risk getting my heart broken again.

Well, after about a month of thinking about it and debating with myself, I decided to flirt back. And it was the best thing that I could have done. After a while, I ended up calling him and we talked as though we were old best friends that had lost touch with each other.

We started talking every day, and 2 to 4 times a day, in fact. Then, Erik bought me a plane ticket for July 1 and I put in a vacation request from July 1 to 10. When I arrived in Pa., Erik was there at the airport waiting with an engagement ring. He proposed there and then.

I stayed there until July 5. Erik decided to leave everything behind and move to Fla with me. So we loaded up his car with what we could and made the ride across to Fla along with his son, arriving on July 9.

The path to being a fully-blended family has not been an easy one. We have had some obstacles along the way, but we had both agreed upfront that we would both stick with it no matter what and always work it out.

We just got married on March 26, 2005. Even the wedding wasn't without obstacles. It was supposed to be an outdoor wedding. There was a storm, tornados and everything...

I cannot but help think that with all that we have already gone through, there is nothing but good in this union. We have a smaller version of the Brady Bunch - I have two boys and Erik has one; I have a dog and he has a cat.

We are absolutely happy with one another, and are willing to face all obstacles, together as a family and as a couple. Simply because we really love each other. There is so much more to look forward to in life now. Previously, we merely lived and existed for our children. Now, we are enjoying and embracing life and everything it has to offer.

Thank you! We really couldn't have done it without you!!
