A widower after 33 happy years of marriage, Danny hoped to spend the rest of his life with a loving, caring companion by his side. He also preferred to date interracially, so the site he chose to post a profile on was ours. Browsing profiles one day, Danny stumbled across one that stood out. Helen’s profile hinted at what Danny would soon come to know about her—that she shared many of his spiritual views, likes and dislikes, philosophical outlook… They had a lot in common.
Danny sent Helen a flirt and she flirted back. They exchanged a few messages on the site, progressed to off-site emails and a few long phone conversations. By that point they couldn’t wait to spend time together in person.

That moment came with an evening spent at Downtown Disney. “From the first time we set eyes on each other, we felt instant chemistry,” Danny reports. “We were so at ease with each other and things just flowed.”
As Danny and Helen walked around, hand-in-hand, they found themselves so caught up in the moment that they got lost in the park. Twice. By the time a fireworks display brought down the curtain on the night, it felt like they’d known each other for years. “The fireworks in our hearts were even more awesome,” Danny says.
Danny and Helen feel extremely fortunate to have found each other. “Time, hope, prayers and patience pays off,” Danny says to daters who haven’t yet found their match. “We hope our story encourages others not to lose the hope of finding true love...”
