Map Shows Most 'Racist' States

We've speculated, but I think the following data might explain why some interracial couples can go through everyday life with relative ease, and while others face almost constant challenges. A map created by Google revealing the most racist searches, using keywords like n-word and such things gives some indication what secret thoughts go through the hearts and minds of your neighbors.

WHAT ARE THE MOST RACIST REGIONS OF THE UNITED STATES?

Racism is rife in the coal region in Northeastern Pennsylvania and the spine of the Appalachian Mountains, according to the map.

Racism is also common in the 'rust belt' which straddles the upper Northeastern US, the Great Lakes, and the Midwest states.

The map revealed that clusters of racism appeared in areas of the Gulf Coast, Michigan's Upper Peninsula, and a large portion of Ohio.

Racism in the New England states, along with New York, were two of the most surprising discoveries for the researchers.

Searches for n****r are less frequent in regions west of Texas.

A cross reference of racist tweets mapped by Humbolt University gave similar results.

So pretty much all the states east of Texas are racist? Hmmm...maybe it's time for another Great Migration lead by interracial couples.

What do you think of the map? Is it consistent with your own experiences? View it here.

Racism is bad, built to destroy and cause those around them to be misersble! Heritage, on the other hand to those wanting to carry on whatever race they may be is precious too!! An (IR) is not suitable for all peoples, and should be respected as such!!

Lmao . Most racist states and they first used Google search and second they only do a search with the N word. I hate to tell everyone but racism goes both ways. It is not only white people that are racist and that's the way they are trying to make you think by only doing a search with the N word. This is such bs. Racism is everywhere but it's how we as adults and human beings deal with it that matters.

My personal experiences seem to verify the results of this query. Born in Oregon To a very large & racially diverse family was fantastic. I've lived in many states and my only negative experiences have taken place in Florida and neighboring states. Also I've found that communities with a heavy saturation of military families are the most accepting , with the military culture being the best of all!

This is "junk science." They left out the most important thing...is green the most racist and red the least racist, or vice versa? What, exactly, do the different categories mean? How, exactly, did they determine this? And why is this article entitled, "Map Shows Most 'Racist' States" when most of the color divisions are not along state lines? If I lived in almost any state in the eastern half of the US, I wouldn't even be able to find it on this map. The only way I found my state is because it's on the lower right hand corner. It has all 4 colors, so does that make us the most racist or the least racist or what?
