Why would someone have an interracial dating blog? I’ll be honest… that was my first feeling before I started out. It was an odd idea and my biggest worry was how I was going to write an entire blog on the subject. How much could I possibly say? That I met a white guy, we hit it off, we got married, now we’re living happily ever after… THE END?
Well when I got to it, I found there were quite a load of things to write about… the myths, the stereotypes, the list is endless. I had never thought that people actually think they are not attractive enough to date a different race. I had heard the usual….. “white men just want black women for sex�? thing, but I was shocked to find that there are more myths.
The thing that really got me going was my readers. You guys give me inspiration and your comments are honest and I get most of my ideas from them. And one thing I admire about you guys is the fact that you are not afraid to criticize (but go easy once in a while… I am a fragile one 
).
Now I understand why one should have an interracial dating blog. To share and to learn from other people’s experiences when faced with rejection and ridicule from society.
Much as I don’t write about interracial stuff entirely, I do hope that I keep you well entertained when I veer off the main subject. Question is, how do you feel about interracial dating blogs? How do you feel about the blog? Where do you applause Ria, and where can Ria improve?

Hi Ria, Thanks for the blog. We need it. Anyway, I’ve been on the interracial dating website for about three months and it’s just not happening. One guy even wanted to know if I liked feet…I also wonder about the 1-3am mesages, but I’m trying not make too many judgements… Anyway, I am trying to keep an open mind. In fact, I opened up my preferences to more ethnicities, but I’ve also fine-tuned my own. I’d like people to share what works for them. I especially want to hear from the men.

Hi all, you guys don’t have problems, this interracial thing is just taking off here in South Africa, and boy do we have a lot of fun. In the Malls you see people dodging pillars at the last moment because they were watching a white guy and black woman walking by holding hands and don’t look where they going.
A huge problem we have here is that Black woman are sexually very attractive to white men, and white men are financially very attractive to the black woman, and that puts a massive strain on any potential interracial dating, hopefully thing will sort themselves out in years to come.

Reading your Blogs and comments to them , brings back memories of the 1970 ‘s . When I dated a very Nice Black Ladie who worked across the street from my apartment in Houston . We went out to Dinner many times / Dutch treat because neither of us was abundantly blessed with cash . We went shopping together and would hang out in the city parks listening to music . Once in a while we went dancing for the evening . We were friends not Lovers and we were friends for years .
