After viewing this innocent picture of a couple in an intimate moment. I’ve come to the conclusion that the true racist are just jealous. They can’t stand to see anyone happy. They envy the romance and the electric but powerful chemistry that exists between a black man and white woman who happen to be in love….

I cannot believe that such ignorance still exists today. I am in a very happy interracial marriage with two beautiful children!!! I do not know why people think they have the right to judge someone else. Just because you are white, does not make you superior. To the contrary, your attitude and ignorance put you right down there with the pond scum. If you don’t want to see a black man kissing a woman or a white man kissing a black woman, close your eyes!! If it is on a magazine, don’t buy it! We are growing in numbers, and we will not go away. We deserve to have advertising and that represents our reality as much as you do. You know the bible says that Jesus had bronze skin and hair like wool. Sure does sound like a black man to me!! Boy won’t you racist idiots have some explaining to do in Heaven if he is. Maybe you won’t get in, and the rest of us can finally have peace!!

i am very well aware of the racism of interracial dating. My future wife is a latina but looks white. So I get horrible stares from black women and white men. When they find out she is spanish the spanish men get very upset. I’m just glad no one says anything.

I just want to say that when I opened this blog it didn’t suprise me that the subject was white women and black men…..I see absolutely nothing wrong with two people with different skin colors dating. What really suprises me is that people think it is wrong for a black and white person to be in a relationship, but they see nothing wrong with an hispanic and white dating….is that still considered “interracial dating?” I met a wonderful black man about 8 months ago…and yes, we get all the stares when we go in public…I guess I have gotten use to it, but at first it was really hard. I decided that I really cared about this man and stares were not going to stop me from being with a man I care about and who cares about me. We now live together and in the process of starting our own business. He takes really good care of me, helps around the house, and opens every door for me when we are together. Now I am not saying that I only date black men….but I do find myself more attracted to them… . .and this should not be about a persons skin color…what this should be about is two people who care about each other and want to build a relationship together.

It is very difficult to experience prejudice of any sort but narrow minded people feel free to express blatent rudeness to mixed couples. Being a caucasion woman married to an asian man, I find a cold sort of reaction, more of an exclusion from situations. A few times, there have been obvious expressions of disgust.Most people are ok,especially woman,but men are more hostile and it can be scary to see this. My child has been thought of as Hispanic because of our mix and so I have found this heartbreaking to witness this ignorance as well and the quiet way it insinuates itself into the life of a childs self esteem.It opens ones eyes to many situations that are difficult to explain what you are experiencing, but I know is true because I am white and see it for what it is.
When people are open and good and try to go beyond what is unfamiliar,I find this very touching,and go out of my way to help them feel comfortable.I find the elderly and the young to be the most open and accepting of differences in people overall.
My advice to people who are in a mixed race relationship and/or have mixed race children is to find a place to live that is open and accepting of differences. Especially for your children. I would say a city or community that has many different types of people and you see many races interacting comfortably. I am from NYC metro and live in Hawaii , where my husband is from. We lived in Oregon for a bit and went to a few other places for vacation that were amazingly ignorant and unsophisticated about this.It was an awful way to feel. Check the population statistics and do your life a favor and get out of those places. Life is wonderful when you are not looked at as different and are around evolved people.

A mixed couple kissing causes all this commentary and yet a mixed (non-romantic) couple in the squared circle beating the bejabbers out of each other is called the “sweet science”. There is something wrong there for sure.
