Barack Obama Gets Emotional as He Delivers His Farewell Speech in Chicago
Try not to freak out, but in just nine days, Barack Obama will no longer be the President of the USA. Last night, he gave his final farewell speech in Chicago, and it was emotional to say the least…
It’s no secret that a lot of American citizens are unsure and sometimes even scared of what four years under Donald Trump’s lead may bring, but he did his best to assure his country that everything has the potential to work out if they continue to lead non-discriminative lives...
“Laws alone won’t be enough. Hearts must change. It won’t change overnight. Social attitudes oftentimes take generations to change,” he began. “But if our democracy is to work the way it should in this increasingly diverse nation, then each one of us need to try to heed the advice of a great character in American fiction, Atticus Finch, who said ‘ You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view, until you climb into his skin and walk around in it.’”

What are you looking for?
Oh, Obama. Are you sure we can’t tempt you into another four years?
If that wasn’t emotional enough, the POTUS got teary eyed as he thanked his wife Michelle Obama. We definitely ‘had something in our eye’ too...
"Michelle, for the past 25 years, you've been not only my wife and mother of my children, but my best friend. You took on a role you didn't ask for and made it your own with grace and grit and style and good humour. You made the White House a place that belongs to everybody. And a new generation sets its sights higher because it has you as a role model. You've made me proud. You've made the country proud."
