Bottomline I can talk for hours about this subject,
but,I’ll keep it short and to the point!.I HATE
Valentines Day,what’s the freakin’ point.Honestly,
if your a person who cares about Valentines day,YOUR
BORED…and you probably need a life!.
Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!,Valentines Day SUCKS!!…WHO CARES?!.

I agree with kholbito. Valentine’s Day is a joke and those who participate in it is a joke as well.

Anyone who needs a “special” day to show their loved one that they care is ridiculous but to each his own.

You shouldn’t need a “special” day for your significant to show you they love you or care for you.

Valentine’s Day is utter nonsense. And as was mentioned by one Relationship Specialist, if either partner feels “obliged” to do some chore, then the relevance of the day is meaningless. I’ve been around guys who take their wives out every week, yet she still expects a gift on Valentine’s Day, and Mother’s Day, and her Birthday, and her Wedding Day. Sad reality is that American women (at least here in the northeast US) have become so accustomed to receiving gifts for special occasionals as well as no-occasions, that it is built into their psyches. Many guys simply perform a chore to go-along and get along.

If I say I don’t give a flip about Vday, then someone is bound to call me unromantic, or better yet, bitter. If I start drooling at the thought of Vday, someone is bound to call me greedy or shallow for wanting all those “goodies” that the jewelry, floral and greeting card industry insists that men buy in order to have a peaceful home life (…whatever!).

If I say Vday is unimportant, trust me, I’m not lying. If I say it’s important, I’m not lying either! LOL it’s a free country, people. Do whatcha like. Also, check out this article I saw on CNN.com on the same subject:

Amen to that What?!. Maybe he should have went to Jared’s. Today I spoke to a few married men about V-day and they aren’t opposed but they aren’t celebrating like it’s 1999 either. Essentially, they care about making their wives feel EXTRA special even when she says its not a big deal and I think that’s awesome. I think the older we women get we do tend to see it as just another day especially if we’re making honest efforts the other 364 days of the year. For those who like to make it a big deal, do. For those who don’t, well…don’t.

I think Valentine’s day is extremely important.

Some women downplay it because they got “anybody” to share that day with. Especially sellout black women.

I bought my fiancee a ring at “Zales”. Bottom line if a woman says Valentine day is not important she is lying!
