Attitudes towards Valentine’s day
Valentine’s day is here again… a day that can make or break your relationship. Most men have been found guilty of either forgetting or even ignoring this day while some have sent Valentines to women who had no idea the men had crushes on them. So, how should you start this day?
2 in 5 men feel it’s quite ok to start the romance with a Valentine’s Day card. I believe most women think this is how the day should start; some delivery with a bouquet of flowers, chocolate, fine wine and a V’s Day card with some very thoughtful and romantic message.
Sad thing is not everyone get’s to celebrate this day. And the attitude of your spouse toward this day plays a very important role. The average guy’s attitude toward Valentine’s day is “I CAN TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT.” And some feel “ITS FOR HER NOT ME.” Others feel this day was made for women to torture men. Such attitudes have left many women heartbroken on this day. Some even hate this day because of past experiences. And yet, 32% of men wish their spouses would do something for them on V Day.

I think a man’s beliefs in V Day are insignificant. Taking one day and making it special just because your significant other finds it significant shows how unselfish your love for her is. So what counts is not a man's attitude but a woman's. And if you are lucky, she probably thinks its bull. What do you think of Valentine’s Day? What makes this day special (or not) for you?
Have a great one!
